The Lobby hours are 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Window hours are Monday - Friday 9:15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., and 12 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. The lobby is closed on Sundays and holidays. Transportation

  • Highway - US Highway 18 & 52 borders the Monona Industrial Park. Interstate 80 is 80 miles south and Interstate 90 is 90 miles east or 65 miles north. US Highway 18 Bridge connects Iowa and Wisconsin 13 miles east.
  • Railroad - The Soo Line Railroad passes through Monona on the north. The rail line offers off track holding for loading and unloading of freight.
  • Air Service - The Monona Municipal airport located three miles east of town. The length of the sod runway is 2,650 feet. Commercial service is available 65 miles away located at Dubuque, Iowa and La Crosse, Wisconsin and 100 miles to Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
  • Freight Carriers - Consolidated Freightways, Yellow Freightways, H & W, Hyman Freightways, Cross Freight Company, Koschkee Transport and Iowa Parcel.

Municipal Swimming Pool

  • The outdoor City Pool is located at the MFL MarMac High School grounds. The summer schedule will be released and posted here near the end of the school year.
